Le Pilat

Pilat, a furnished playground
Lyon, the world capital of gastronomy, also offers a magnificent playground for discovering the region by bike. This is what our client offered to his 45 guests during three days of Ride, discovering the Lyon region, from the Monts d'Or to Pilat. The first stage, north-west of Lyon, crossed the Dombes ponds to reach the Monts d'Or via the Verdun Pass. The next day, a transition course in the hinterland of Lyon took cyclists south, in the direction of Pilat, a mountain range where meadows, forests and wine estates mingle. Finally, the third day of Ride made it possible to reach the highest point of Pilat via the Col de l'Oeillon, a symbol and a real sporting challenge for the 45 participants.

Stars on the plate
Lyon and its region are full of good addresses and exceptional restaurants. This is what we proposed to all participants to discover a unique know-how in two establishments: the restaurant with 2 Michelin stars, Paul Bocuse, a true institution of French gastronomy. The second dinner took place in the heart of the vineyards of Côte-Rôtie near Condrieu at Philippe Girardon, best worker in France.
